DP I don’t disagree with the first part of what you said. Yes they are cash cows. And everyone knows that the ‘executive development program’ at Northwestern is not the same as getting accepted into and attending Kellogg MBA. But people should definitely put it on their resume and LinkedIn. If someone can put a credential on LinkedIn after attending a 4 day virtual course why wouldn’t they put a development program that spanned 9 months and multiple weekends or in person weeks?? It’s a legitimate investment of one’s time and there’s no reason to be so cranky about it. |

Not just Harvard - people pull this s**t with any of the top schools. I interviewed once a guy who had Wharton listed under his academic credentials. He made a big deal out of it, as if he had gone there. It turned out he just completed a Wharton coursera course. |
