program design team no longer meeting so there is truly no check on MCPS

Parents and the Board of Ed should demand regular updates during the rest of the planning process.

MCPS seems to want to force the Board to approve this in March so they can do the rest of the planning with no oversight and no transparency.

Next October they’ll tell 8th graders that all the programs are going to be great and just go ahead and apply.

BOE is behind this. That's why there is no transparency and accountability as the new BOE president promised as well as Taylor.

The so-called design team met for the first time in 3 months with MCPS today and learned nothing of value. MCPS just went over the Board presentation they made in November. And the Superintendent's recommendation is coming tomorrow. What a sham of a process.
