I think it depends a lot on connections and your potential to bring in future work, to be honest. I don't want to out myself, but I work with someone very well-connected in a niche scope of work my company was interested in and I assume (based on my salary) that this person makes high 200s-low 300s. Super nice person, incredibly knowledgeable and well worth the money. But I'm just guessing.
