Royal Tandoor is very good if you drive an hour.

Lots of good options for weekday buffets, particularly if you're willing to drive to outer burblandia.

Minerva is G-d awful. Royal Tandoor is middling at best. Kadhai is actually good.๐Ÿ˜Œ

Pros and cons?

Cafe of India is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area and they donโ€™t currently have a lunch buffet but they do have a lunch Thali where you can build your own platter. Highly recommend. https://cafeofindiadc.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Thali-Menu-Coi.pdf

Really? I think Kadhai is bland Westernized Indian food. Minerva is where Indians actually eat.

Never heard of Royal tandoor.

Kadhai is generally good but donโ€™t like the heavy use of cream in their sauces.

I am Indian and have never left Minerva without getting heartburn. People go there because itโ€™s cheap.

This is really missing in the city proper. I would love it, too.

If you just want good Indian food and are willing to order off a menu, Chai Pani is actually delicious. You can likely get a seat at the bar for lunch.
