Switch 2

Switch 2 has stupidly few available games (and even fewer that are any good), plus it’s $500 just for the system. Not worth the price, IMHO. Switch 1 is much less expensive and has a huge game library.

However, if budget is no issue for you, you might go for the 2, as it will be the console that gets the new games in the future. The 2 does play almost all Switch 1 games also.

We got one over the summer and it's been a big hit with the kids. It's my first ever Nintendo and I'm even getting sucked into one of the Zelda games.
