Anthropologie 40$
Jenny Bird 50$ https://jenny-bird.com/search?q=Pendant+bubble Both are plated options. |
| Those are so 80s. |
They are, but they’re in style again right now - cute for a teen. |
Do you really think those bubble initials are going to be worn when the teen becomes an adult? It’s a gold covered chain with a letter charm. You cannot tell the difference between a $20 one and a $200 one. They are costume jewelry whether it’s Kendra Scott, Target or TJ Maxx. Costume jewelry has come a long way from when it turned your skin green. |
| I’m interested in the comments saying $100+ gold plated jewelry is better than $10 gold plated jewelry. Why is this the case? If both are, for instance, sterling silver and both have gold plating is the markup due to thicker plating or what? |
Why are people paying $100 for plated brass junk |
| Amazon has them for like $10 |
Yeah, okay. Here you go sweetheart. https://www.target.com/p/bubble-initial-necklace-14k-gold-plated-balloon-letter-pendant-custom-name-jewelry-trendy-chunky-gift-for-women/-/A-1005812555#lnk=sametab |
Is it really? https://www.target.com/p/bubble-initial-necklace-14k-gold-plated-balloon-letter-pendant-custom-name-jewelry-trendy-chunky-gift-for-women/-/A-1005812555#lnk=sametab |
OMG this is cheap, cheap, cheap. I'd rather buy from Target, sweetie pie. |
EXACTLY. Why would I buy my teen a $100 gold plated necklace that has a brand name when this is just as nice and will be worn for a year until it's no longer trendy and then tossed aside. Some of you girls have way too much money and zero common sense. |
DP. Cute, but - That’s from a 3rd party seller. Whenever I buy from Target, I always make sure it’s always actually “sold and shipped by” Target otherwise it’s a crapshoot and not unlike all the knock offs on Amazon |

This is exactly what I think your daughter wants.

The Amazon version of this is Pavoi and it's $10, FYI |
