yet another name question. . .what do you think of this slightly unusual one?

OP again, #1's name starts with an A, would it be cheesy to have them both start with A if we went with Alice?
Anonymous
I don't think it's cheesy if it's only two. But I love the name Alice...

I don't think it's at all cheesy to have 2 As -- especially since it would be a name that's very special to you.

Another No vote here.

No to Florentina....sounds like a spinach dish. Tasty for a menu, but not a little girls name. I have to agree with your DH on Alice -- so cute and classic!

Another alternative to Florentina could be Valentina...that's cute, especially if you're Italian.

Although I agree with PPs that you should pick what YOU love... if I had to vote, I say Alice over Florentina. Alice is cute!

I have two kids with "R" names (unintentional... but we were iffy about it at first, just couldn't help the names we loved!)... no big deal. Now... six kids with "R" names, another story.

OP here. . .I love how no one suggested just using Florence I don't think I could do it either. . .

How about using Florentina and Alice as middle names, eg, first name, Florentina, Alice, last name?

Is Florencia better than Florentina?

DH has two middle names and hates it so would never go for it. . .I might have to go with Alice since I had more of a say with #1's name.

How about Loren Alice?

I think the PP is on to something. Loren might work for Florence perfectly. I am a total Italophile, but unless your last name is Italian, I think Florentina is way over the top.

Alice, not a big fan either. sorry!

What about Elise instead of Alice? Not really related but I love the name an it's similar.

I think Flora is cute...don't really like the rest.
