Medicare advantage is a scam. Say you have a fall and break your hip and have to go to rehab it will be much harder to get insurance authorization if you have more than just straight Medicare.

Say no to Medicare Advantage. Get a Medicare supplement though.

Get a medigap plan. The G plans are only $200-250/month per person. And it basically pays for what parts an and b don't, after your deductible.

I wouldn't, but I know people who love Kaiser.

Kaiser is an HMO be sure you understand how that works. I would only use a Medigap planl

A lot of major hospitals are dropping coverage, with Mayo Clinic being the most well known.

I didn’t understand it in the context of the discussion of Hopkins and its own Medicare advantage plan. Did PP mean that Hopkins would drop out as a provider in its own plan?
