It really sucks that at the times when you're dealing with the grief and intense emotions the most (break-ups, death) are when you are also required to do a ton of heavy lifting in terms of managing complex financial transactions and decisions. Wishing you the best.

I don’t know why you wanna talk to a financial advisor; they don’t have any thing to say in this situation. Get a divorce consult with an attorney; they can tell you an estimate of what you’re going to get.
