IRS source has at least one person posting an image of their RIF notice signed today by the COO.

Looks like it is embedded functions that they had already said were going to be rolled up to a Treasury level, IT, business systems planning. Because we don’t need our own IT people at all. What a joke.

They cut IT at my agency as well and now thousands of people waste tons of time when the system repeatedly crashes. They put all our functions into a single system so we can't do anything when the system goes down. Really efficient.

Oh wow. This hits close to home. We are research scientists, and my husband worked at NIH. Our daughter has an autoimmune disease that hasn't had pharmaceutical innovation in decades.
