+1. Please stop speculating about the reasons until we know what happened. |
| Oh, the already know what happened. They are waiting to have the whole thing fully communicated internally before releasing official accounts so there are no mistakes. |
LOL nothing will be said. MCPS will be sued and a settlement reached. The public will never know details. |

Ticket all the drivers who drive near busses, but it's the busses that have no visibility to see children.
People freak out about those huge Dodge pickups, but not about busses. |
Something like that. You can see a crosswalk and a bicycle behind the school bus. |
They do. The bus accidentally hit the child. |
Yup. This is the MCPS way and Taylor is going to follow the old playbook. |
| Please be aware that a horrible tragedy has occurred and you are posting on a public forum. Members of the child's family may be reading this. Please be respectful and don't speculate. |
| We were just at our bus stop and a car flew by the STOP sign on the bus. Dumbass, enjoy the ticket. |
That is PURE speculation. Just because something is ‘likely’ does not make it true. |
Thank you! As someone in the Wood community, this is the right approach. |
You will wait forever. |
| We don’t know what happened and who was at fault. Do buses have sensors and cameras like cars these days? As a driver, I have noticed many cyclists and pedestrians cross and ride without regard to traffic. Kids especially, don’t pay attention to cars. Then there are drivers who are not paying attention to cyclists or pedestrians. We might know what happened. |
I came back to ask this very same question. Do all school buses have exterior cameras that would’ve caught an accident like this? |
