We do sports and multiple music programs. Its not worth it to you, it has nothing to do with the kids. |
Huh? Most old people I know stay up very late. Surely 40-50 year olds can stay up until midnight? |
Nope. Not wired to stay up late, and never have been. Midnight is the beginning of my second REM cycle. I’m lucky if I make it to 10:30. Either you’re a night owl or you’re not. I’m not. |

Go back and read 23:33, no, I will repost for you:
It’s a field availability/ump/ref issue. Finite resources. Money won’t help |
| I absolutely love the early weekend game time slot. Get up, go to the game, frees up the rest of the day. |
On a school night. |
No freaking way. Bed by 10 pm or gtfo. |
Hard same. We are now in the 2-5pm game phase for both kids and I hate it. |
|
At least the early game starts on time.
I hated showing up for a 2pm baseball game and the previous game had 3 or 4 innings left because they had started late. Add in rain delays and we were lucky to be home by 6pm. |
I think it depends how early is early. 9 a.m.? Sure, great that does free up the rest of the day. My kid's current game schedule is 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. Saturday mornings. It's way too early, and I've already said this will be the last season. And I'm a morning person! Count me in as another old person who can't stay up past 9:30, 10 at the latest. |
| omg what sports league has 6 am games??? |
+1000 |
| What a lazy selfish SOB you are OP |
Same!! |
Why is everyone ignoring this correct answer and instead fighting about children becoming pro athletes? |
