So, the whole Loudoun United thing is interesting. I'm not sure how they are hanging on at USL Championship, drawing barely over 2000 fans a game.

The ownership group is a mishmash and DCU still retains a minority stake, which is possibly preventing them from investing in a MLS Next Pro squad. Don't know, that's my opinion.

Segra field isn't exactly an enticing place to go watch a game when compared to other home pitches in USL Championship, especially Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh - can't beat the view.

Loudoun United started up in USL Championship and became affiliated with DCU right as Richmond Kickers were dropping down to USL1. Unfortunate the whole tortured relationship with USL and MLS.

Somebody who is an insider posted that they clinched playoff spot. I saw some pictures of the stands for the game and maybe 100 people there. This stadium has been a big dud for the county. How come it’s not used for concerts and other events to make some money?
