Verbal commitments

Many congratulations. But in the end, a verbal commitment is not binding any more than a verbal commitment to buy a car is binding.

I don't mean to be glib but between the tranbsfer portal, and kids shopping around with no penalty up to the last minute, coaches/schools are keeping their options open as long as possible.
