The Morning Show season 4

Since a key plot line is Bradley's brother being part of J6 and going to prison, I wonder if they will "rip from the headlines" Trump pardoning all the J6ers. Though timeline-wise, it's still summer of 2024 (Paris Olympics) so not clear if the season will cover all the way to Trump taking office.

This whole "deep fake" storyline isn't over, right? The explanation of "it was the Iranians" didn't make ANY sense at all but Alex was like "oh, okay." That can't be the end of it.

My husband and I continue to enjoy making up incorrect interpretations of what the lyrics of the opening credits song are. Mahjong!

I think Celine was behind it, wanting to get rid of Alex. When she garnered great press for her impromptu protest coverage, she changed her mind. Just a guess.

Lol about the song. At first I loathed it, now I bop along.

I still loathe that opening song! I can’t believe they continue to use it - surely it annoys the cast too. And it seems to go on forever - glad I can skip it.

I liked Season 1 pretty well, thought Season 2 was terrible, Season 3 was okay, so I didn’t have high hopes for this season, but . . . it’s pretty good, and this latest episode was particularly so. I’ve also always enjoyed the needle drops even when the actual plot was absurd or cringey, and this season is no different.

I’m also surprisingly enjoying this season so far. I didn’t have high hopes for it, but it’s keeping me engaged.

For me got off to a slow start, but liked the new ep. Getting twisty!

It’s so boring! And the lead women look fake,’why can’t our actresses here age like a Kristen Scott Thomas?

I hope they pay attention to Marion Cotillard, who leaves them in the dust. Jennifer Aniston is starting to look insane with all the work. Reese not too bad, but it is noticeable.

I’m disliking this convoluted storyline. I can’t distinguish what’s going on - what did Corey do?

Looks like he hired a fixer to quash reporting on a serious environmental violation involving Wolf River that harmed people. Maybe a quid pro quo that got him the executive position.

+1 Yes, but Greta Lee (who is usually great) totally overacted in that scene. It was distracting.

This ep was better, but I realized I simply don't care about any of the characters.

I’ve only seen her in this, and to me her acting is painfully bad.

NP.

IMO, this season is not bad. The last episode had me completely engrossed.

Its one of those shows that should've ended on a high note. I am not liking this season either.

Same here. I was pleased she was not in the last episode. Enough of her.

Her character in Morning Show has always been poorly conceived and the show is so soapy. But she's great in Past Lives and I also enjoyed her in Russian Doll in a supporting role. She also plays herself in an episode of The Studio.

Its a good 3.5/5 show on average, some episodes 2.5 while others go up to 4.5.
