| From this teacher's perspective: providing substitute funds for field trips! When I worked in AACPS, central office always covered the cost of substitutes for field trips. This meant that teachers could focus on providing enriching, out-of-classroom experiences for students without worrying about creating additional financial barriers. I would be willing to take students on more field trips if this were the case. |

They need to get the basics right. Do the background checks. Pay teachers timely.
Stop with the nonsense lawsuits that have no chance of being successful (allowing opt outs). Admit when wrong and move forward. |
