| OP is 100% not from MCPS and doesn't understand the grading scale. Question is why are they trolling here? What's the goal? Reminding us that Donald Trump is worried about a shortage of physically fit child prostitute for him and his friends to rape? |
| If they do, I hope kids’ grades aren’t dependent on it. I am small and was on the younger age for my grade and I could never pass. I always ended up with a B in PE and it was so demoralizing when I had straight As otherwise. I ended up cheating on the stupid test (skipping a lap on the mile). I’m not proud of that, but there was no way I’d pass otherwise |
Do you know why? Because we never got rid of the physical fitness test we just changed the name. We also changed what was tested. |
A bunch of people have been paid to troll Montgomery County public schools. We also have bots. Also, some of the less intelligent read the fake posts and the bots and we’re like oh yeah, I agree. Same with Fairfax County. |

It's meaningless, but also characteristic of this administration's approach to policy.
Childhood obesity is an actual issue in this country, but renaming the Presidential Fitness Program back to the Presidential Fitness Test isn't going to change that. We need: * Access to healthy foods in school. The Trump Administration cut $600m in USDA programming that paid American farmers to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to the country's schools. * Access to healthy foods outside of school as well. The president's proposed budget would cut $1.3b in fresh food and vegetable subsidies provided through the WIC program. * Access to the outdoors. The Trump budget cuts more than $1b from the National Parks Service. * Enough education funding to lower class sizes and get kids off screens. The Trump budget proposed massive slashes to education funding, including funds to help lower class sizes in rural schools. |

The point of the games is physical fitness, so why would that change. And we Presidential fitness was changed to Fitgrams to more clearly focus on the individuals fitness not their competition against others.
PE is fine. Kids learn and bunch of sports and hopefully they like one. In HS they can choose from a variety of activators and sport. Unless it’s going to come with a huge infusion of cash so schools can have more sport teams, intramural sports, and competitive activities who cares about the Presidential Fitness exam. |
| Extremely unfair to students with disabilities. |

I hate Trump with a passion.
I didn't enjoy this test as a kid but it was a positive rite of passage. |
Similar story here. PE should be a straight up participation mark-no grade. You either participate or you don't. Giving kids grades for PE is ridiculous. |
| Middle School is the pinnacle of MCPS PE. Weekly mile run, quarterly pacer fit-test, push up count, sit up count. |
| My kid will do it when Trump does. |
They literally do this all 3 quarters in middle school… |
Put down the crack pipe. |

Trump's guest of honor at the signing ceremony was a man who was convicted of raping a 16 year old sex slave.
https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-inviting-sex-offender-white-house-2107403 He also misspelled the title of his EO. (It has since even fixed.) Nothing this monstrous man says should be given an ounce of consideration except to process toward his impeached and imprisonment. |
| Can my friend move the finish line of the mile like Trump's caddies move his golf balls? |
