If they were younger, sure, but at 7 and 11, no way. My 10 YO has already outgrown his "kid" suitcase. |
A small rolling suitcase is great for travel but there’s no reason to spend this much on it. |
Until middle school? No |
+1 No question |
This was worth it with babies but otherwise any regular suitcase works!

They have decent brands like Samsonite. I can’t verify how it will hold up but I recently bought my son one from Britbag that was small but holds a ton. I specifically got one that opened on top VS clamshell. I think they are easier to pack |
No. Just pack their stuff in your own suitcase. When they are old enough to travel on their own, they’ll want real luggage anyway. |
My kid has a bag the same size that I got at Walmart for $29, it's held up just fine. I would not spend over $200 on it. |
11 is too big for kid luggage. The 7-yr old might fit in the small bag for a couple yrs, but I wouldn’t spend so much for that little time. We got regular adult away flex for my 10 & 13 yr olds. The Middle schooler is already bigger than me! |
7 and 11are definitely old enough for regular luggage. I do still use DD mini pink roller bag when I occasionally need to transport extra things to work. It was Target junky but still in use. |
