VT does not yield protect. Every year, surprised parents claim that it does when their kids don't get in. They are very upfront about the fact that they do not do this and say so right on their website.

DS 24, Fcps. 4.1w gpa, 1380sat (670v, 710M) White not first gen college. 8 APs. all the rest honors. Varsity captain of a sport, state champion in individual sport. Also volunteer work.

Waitlisted for business, so did not get in.

Is happily attending another school w a great business program, in the cost range of VT.
