Vandy Gameday OOTD

If you wonder why The Making of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is so popular too, and trying to get on the team is so popular even though the job is terrible, it’s this: some people still value looking “hot”, thin, blond and sexy. Vandy is like and educated, rich version of that.

Cowboy boots and skirts is very much a Nashville thing. Pretty much every woman on Broadway looks like this on a Saturday - which is college game day. Wait until OP sees what women at Columbia wear when they go downtown on the weekends.

who do you think is on the field?

the gameday OOTD for too many is a uniform.

Barnard girls are much worse. Many from nyc ED Barnard, many are academically underperformed but full pay + ED. Different levels of shallowness.

I was just passing through Wisconsin Madison a week ago. There was a huge country concert in town. Miranda Lambert and Morgan Wallen. The co-eds out and about were dressed like this. I noticed the vibe before I understood that it was due to an event. I think more delicate shoes are prettier with short skirts.

Whatever with the game day, I’m well aware going out attire leaves little to the imagination at many a school. Vandy does seem on the vapid side though.

What is wrong with their outfits? They’re young college women, going to a hot football game in the sun. Most of the prices of their clothes seemed reasonable.

People on here are horrible snobs. And you’re raising your children that way? They’re watching and listening to how you judge. Gross.

Definitely not at all.

OP raised a tacky question and an insult in the first place.

Hot weather means boots are not the coolest choice.

Cowboy boots are pointy for jabbing your horse to keep him moving and tall for keeping you from sinking into mud and manure (and maybe avoiding bites). They are not cooling footwear.

They’re not cool? According to who, you? I have a few pair of cowboys boots and get compliments on them when I decide to wear them. Judging college students for wearing cowboy boots is awful. Do better, much better.

Vandy is a top notch school. For sure.

I understand dcum hate on many schools—the haters can articulate a reason for the hate.

I couldn’t get the hate for two schools. One is Vandy, another is Case Western. The haters on these two cannot formulate the reasons behind the hate. Weird.

Good lord. I took a gander at this instagram post of four women attending a Vanderbilt game on a Saturday. I can question the aesthetic taste, but Nashville is Nashville. That is a very typical look. How about you put up a pic of what you were wearing on a night out when you were 19?

Are people here really judging very selective vids and pics of what a few young women wear on a Saturday evening?

You can do this at any school. The Handmaids Tales people are the OP and the posters clutching their pearls.

I meant cool as in they are not going to cool off your feet in hot weather. I am sure it is a trendy look. That is why it's easy to assemble a video of similarly dressed people. I think cowboy boots look better with longer skirts and jeans.
