Physical textbooks were phased out around a decade ago now. Public schools still have them though, and students can still use them should they desire.

The pendulum is swinging back partially towards physical note taking and physical books.

Maybe they have a book for English to bring home, but that’s usually a paperback. Otherwise no books.
