Quince and J. Crew are my go tos for casual work clothes now. Quince is basically knockoffs, but good ones, of current trends. J Crew often has 40% off sales. In addition to the sweater blazers PP mentioned, also look at the J Crew "lady jackets" which are typically knits but with some embellishments that make them look a little more dressy. Note that some can be quite short so best to try a few to see what works. |
Loving this thread. Thanks!
I travel for work. Though not fashionable, I like the low-wrinkly items from Eddie Bauer- often on sale. |
Agree. What a nice pair you are, helping each other out! |
A PP.
As commented above, fall and early winter are a great time to buy 3-season work wardrobe clothes across many brands. Many brands go crazy in summer with sleeveless fashions and near see-through blouses, etc. Dumb summer stuff that looks best on the under 30 crowd and is best suited to offices that don't blast the AC. I think it's a little early for this stuff to be in stores/online. Probably at least 4-6 weeks. |
Try Stitch Fix?
Banana Republic or similar? |
Hip sneakers + office appropriate clothes

Cargo pants, boxer briefs, work boots and a long sleeve button up. Will fit in with the rest of the men. |
