CTY worth it?

Interested in this program for current 6th grader. What do kids do when not in class?

My kids each took some CTY enrichment classes, but the quality went rapidly down hill in recent years (course content, teachers, administration).

Its often a big financial commitment, so I would do as much checking as you possibly can, first.

Thrilled to see it at the woods but TiC is much more convenient.

They're in class pretty much all the time. In the old residential program there were 6 hours/day of class and 2-3 hours of rec-type activities and 2 hours of study hall. Not sure if that's still how it works.
