This looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I love all of it. My questions are for Hilary Clinton and Jennifer Lawrence 😳 |
Both she and the dress are beautiful. |
OP wondered why it was a subdued wedding palette, and it was (especially for being almost summer). Everything and everyone looked very tasteful and beautiful. And the bride’s veil was perfection! Still, this is a style forum where fashion is allowed to be discussed, and OP wasn’t being personally cutting, unlike your post. |
She looks fantastic for her age and the dress is understated, timeless and beautiful. She’s not a beauty but has made the best of what she has. |
Her first husband was a pos she’s the same as Sanchez it’s about the money Sanchez is worse |
Agree with this! Now do Usha Vance. |
Huma has very similar coloring to Usha but has so consistently looked so much better over the years, even in the midst of that awful scandal with her ex. She just knows how to properly do makeup and wear nice clothes. It’s not complicated. |
Probably selected a dress that covered more of her neck. The dress itself is lovely. |
Agreed. Humans lipstick is always on point. I saw that documentary about her husband and she's in a few scenes just looking pained and annoyed, yet her lipstick is on point every single time. She knows her shades. Also regarding clothes, the thing about Huma is that she projects confidence by staying very safe. Her clothes are never spectacular. They are professional, fit very well, and generally in understated colors (but the *right* understated colors for her coloring). She never looks like she's trying hard. I think with regards to fashion, Huma benefits a lot by having a lot of fashion people in her life and living in NY, that keeps the overall level quite high. Usha tries harder but it shows, and her misses happen on a big stage. Her clothes often look ill fitting, likely because she's buying things off the rack last minute and trying to make them work, whereas Huma likely almost never wears something that hasn't been fitted and tailored first (and therefore gravitates toward more timeless, understated pieces that make that kind of effort worth it). |
Not everyone minds people seeing their aging neck. Stop projecting your insecurities onto every other woman. I think her neck looks good for her age and think a higher neckline would have ruined the effect. |
I love it! |

I think her age is fine, but her extreme thinness makes her a bit severe. She looked beautiful though and the wedding was stunning. |
Some people are just very thin. The irony for me is that people are sitting here criticizing her neck, which looks that way because she is so thin, but if she was heavier, she'd have sagging skin and perhaps a double chin, and everyone would criticize that too. I'm thin and aging like Huma. I'm okay with it. I would probably look better if I got less exercise but I love playing tennis and struggle to keep weight on so it is what it is. The tradeoff is never worrying about my pant size. Perhaps there is some sweet spot where I gained just enough weight to not look gaunt but not enough to be overweight, and that would require such specific dedication to my weight. It's not worth the effort IMO. |
Imagine picking at a bride in a wedding gown.
Too thin, too fat, too old, look at her neck, veins, skin, too much skin, too dowdy, I can’t believe she’s wearing white, blah blah blah. Do better. |
