Dog boarding - 1 month

I’m guessing if op had a family member or friend who she thought would be a good fit to take the dog she wouldn’t be soliciting boarding recommendations, to the likely cost of thousands of dollars, on an Internet forum.

For all you know OP could be going to care for a dying loved one who is alone overseas or in an emergency situation. Who are you to judge with absolutely no context?

Jeez we don’t know what’s gojng on with OP. Maybe her child is dying or something. People just assume she’s skipping off the Bali.

We use a lady in our neighborhood who takes our dog. Years ago we used Oerfect Pet Resort in Lothian Maryland — they were the best kennel we found. They have little rooms for the dogs so they aren’t in cages. They have walks on a really big property, or petting time or play time with other dogs in the yard so you can pick what your dog likes.

This place charges extra for everything - cuddles, feeding, even potty breaks.
