Agree with a lot of the above. I would get my hair done, eyebrows shaped, mani/pedi, and get a bra fitting. And a good bra can take 10 lbs off in an instant. With the wedding 2 weeks out, I wouldn’t do Botox. |
Manicure
Pedicure Haircut - and have them teach you how to style it! Teeth whitening Lots of water |
I wouldn’t do injectables because of the risk of bruising when you’re so close to an event. I would get a nice hair cut, color, and spring for highlights. The day of the event, have professional makeup done. And get a great dress/outfit with good foundational garments to smooth everything out and make it fit better. Good luck OP! |
Really comfortable shoes. when I feel better, I look better.
Really flattering glasses or shades. When I look better, I feel better. A nice water bottle to encourage hydration. I like Owala. Maybe a professional eyebrow tweaking. |
Botox, hair color, high lights, eyebrow shaping, creamy make up, professional spray tan, mani and pedi and professional dressing by Bloomingdales. Good luck. |
Botox, a hydrofacial, 3 day Crest white strips, a professional blow out.
A light spray tan- maybe. Probably not if you're very pale but if you have skin that tans easily you'll look good with a pro spray tan. |
I have been getting compliments lately on how I look. I am 58 and the only thing I am doing differently is lifting weights 3 times a week. It does something to my general appearance in addition to building muscles. I recommend it even for 2 weeks. |
-frumpy 54 yo runs off to lift weights... |
I think it makes you produce more collagen. |
I’d treat myself to a great pair of sunglasses. I’ve been eyeing the big square Gucci sunglasses with the gradient lenses.
Really great sunglasses add so much to a look. And you can wear them every time you go outside. |
Face lift. Game changer for late 50s. |
I started taking collagen powder (put it in a smoothie) for bone health, but noticed right away it also helped my skin. Makes it more elastic and less tired looking. The kind I use also has Hyaluronic acid, not sure if it’s that or the Hyaluronic acid.
Also, years ago I needed professional photos taken, and the photographer told me to drink a ton of water the day before the photo. It surprisingly really did help my skin glow. Good haircut/dye/blowout and good makeup do wonders. So does a well-fitting outfit with a little pop (don’t just wear black). When we were younger, the little black dress looked hot. Now it will just make you look like you’re going to a funeral. |
