I’m 5’4” 145 with wide hips, narrow rounded shoulders and 36C and the size M is perfect, just to give you an idea of sizing.

The dresses with no waist don’t work for me. I need a waist.

Wrap style never worked on me all my life. But now that what did work on me no longer does, perhaps a wrap is worth re-visiting.

OP here. Thanks for all the suggestions so far - and for taking the time to post links! The disagreements/opposing viewpoints at least offer reassurance that it isn't just my own inability to figure it out. There are several suggestions for me to try and I welcome more....
