I use my FSA for prescription sunglasses. And get them from WP, and like them. |
My teen daughter and I both got our latest glasses at WP and love them. I had been hesitant to try them for me but am glad I did. I also got a pair of prescription sunglasses from them for $99 and they are the first pair I’ve ever gotten that I love. They had another pair I was thinking about getting but I thought it was too over the top to get two; I haven’t seen that frame since and I have been regretting it ever since.
DD has gotten glasses several places — Costco. LensCrafters, visionworks, Apex and she likes her WP the best. FWIW |
Ditto. I have one of the big frame pairs and the lenses are better than my expensive sunglasses. I don't treat them well and they have really held up |
I’ve gotten a couple pairs of glasses from there and don’t love them. I won’t be buying more. They don’t fit great and seem very generic. |
I have a pair of prescription sunglasses from them, with progressive lenses. No issues. |
I use WP on part for the styles and in part because it’s so much cheaper. If there are cheaper options for sunglasses and you like them, go right ahead? |
They are cheaper than other fancy eyeglass places but online vendors are much cheaper than WP. And WP prices just went up. Progressives are now $400 and progressive sunglasses are $500. Used to be $300 and $400 (minus whatever I got from eye insurance). |
Not paying for their made in slave labor China garbage. |
I splurged on real glasses and I can't believe I wore WP for years. They're garbage. |
I recently bought glasses on Eye Buy Direct for like $45 and honestly they are better than the $400 I got from my eye doctor. The prescription is somehow perfect and I was super skeptical. I ended up getting glasses and RX sunglasses both for under $120 with whatever promo they were running at the time. Worth a shot! |
And risky. |
Zenni is much cheaper but it’s hit or miss on the quality. One year they gave me the wrong prescription (had the Costco eye doc look at the glasses because they were giving me a headache.). They were really far off the correct prescription and it was a pain to get a refund-they made me send the glasses back at my expense and wait up to 3 months for the refund. I stopped using them since that experience |
+1. I dislike my glasses from WB, or at least the frames. The lenses are good. I need a pair of prescription sunglasses but don’t buy them from WB. |
Warby Parker sucks. It’s all marketing. They are low quality—just go to lens crafters. |
Nooo they are awful. JEMs optical is far better, Morganthal Fredrics is alright. |
