Hardwood floor killing my feet

Our first house had hardwoods that didn’t bother me and I wouldn’t have understood either. For some reason I couldn’t walk around the floors in our second house without my feet hurting. Different kinds of wood are harder I guess?

Yeah, me either until I turned 40 (athlete so I have a lot of wear and tear, it might be older for most). I have foot pain from arthritis, especially in my arches and ball of my feet. Lots of people get plantar fasciitis as well. If you don’t, you probably will.

Count me as another person that has indoor crocs. I only wear them inside the house so they are clean, but I wear them all day long. It has helped me with my plantar fasciitis and other issues.

Hmm, I'm late 40s, play tennis, pilates and yoga. I walk regularly. No feet issues thank goodness.

Socks are rather slippery on wood.

Weird! Our old home was hard wood and 100 years old. Our current home is a new build with new hardwoods. Middle aged- Never had issues.
