So many yard signs!

It’s a PTO fundraiser and the kids like it. It’s not a brag - it’s just saying my kid is finishing public middle school.

This falls under the category of - “this does not affect you so why do you care?”

Painted rocks, broken down rotting little free libraries all of it needs to go!

One of my kids wishes we would do it, but we are private people and don't believe in doing that.

I like the 5th grade ones. Our elementary school is split and scatters for middle school so it does feel like a conclusion for a group of kids who have largely been together for 6 years. It's fun to walk around the neighborhood and see the signs.

Yes agree. In my school district, during Covid they started making the huge weatherproof athletic style banners for all 300-ish seniors (based off of yearbooks) and posting them on the athletic field fencing. Because there wasn't a commencement ceremony. The school tried to cancel this last year but some kids had a fit. So now we have a giant fairly indestructible poster of our kid's senior picture.

Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
Blockin' out the scenery
Breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that
Can't you read the sign?

Signs are what Karens do when they aren't around to Karen and complain and boss others.

I have no yard signs, but with all the sh*tty things in the world right now, they don’t come close to ranking.

I only see the high school ones. Not a fan but if my kid wants it, I'll do it. Not that big a deal.

You clearly have no idea how kidnapping and praying on children actually works.

We need to clean the streets up. Time to declutter signs and other crap all over the place.

Old boxes with apartment guides, old political signs, the stupid "empathy" and "kindness" crap, the painted wooden pallets laid up against trees. It just all looks so trashy and just shows just how needy and insecure people are who clutter the world with this bs.

The graduation signs really took off during Covid, when kids missed their high school graduations, and elementary and middle school send-offs. My kids both had yard signs to celebrate their high school and elementary school graduations during the pandemic. Now people like them!

Yard signs 🪧 do not really bother me very much….unless they are MAGA signs.

If it bothers you > could you contact your HOA if you have one?

I’m not a huge fan of how the signs look, but I don’t feel the need to cut down others fun if they like them.

The concerns about the environment or kidnapping or whatever are ridiculous and disingenuous.
