PPA Premier Boys Hoops - Elementary / Middle School

NP here. When people say expensive, how much are we talking? Also, how does one get on the other teams like the Warriors, Takeover, Team Attack? Is PPA Premier ever a stepping stone to those?

PPA is fielding three teams at each age now, and their top level team is good for the region. They may not be going to the national AAU tourneys, but they have performed well locally this fall.

For us (son in 5th), it was a huge step up from rec with a professional coach and other kids that have played for several years. Rec was always a mixed bag with a few good kids, but then a couple kids who had never played and weren’t athletic thrown in. We aren’t aiming for college bball, but hopefully continuing at this level will allow him to play competitively through high school.

It’s about $3000 for the full year - a fall, winter, and spring/summer/AAU season. We’d prefer it wasn’t an entire year commitment, and I do think they have some teams that are less, but the younger teams seem to be trying to follow the soccer model.
