She pushed for and supported return to work for federal workers only to have many of them fired and thus unable to buy lunch from DC restaurants anyway.

She has plans to drop the sanctuary city label from DC.

I hope Christina Henderson runs. Of all the council members I’ve encountered, she appears to be the smartest.

The problem is that she’s almost invisible on the Council and probably couldn’t win for that reason.

I’m not sure there is anyone out there who is well enough known across the city to defeat Muriel. Anyone who is serious about challenging needs to start getting out there and introducing themselves to people right about now.

Kenyon McDuffie will most likely run and for everyone's sake I hope he does not win! He was a terrible Council Person for Ward 5. His office was so rude, ignored his constituents and did not better the ward at all! He seemed to spend more time in other wards rather than his own. He is all talk!
