MCPS staff: Thoughts on Blair HS?

MCPS does consistently send kids to Ivy colleges and national awards, though.

Teaching causes stress in such a helpless situations without support and tons of blame for things out of our control as well as punishment to teachers and career setbacks based on things out of our control. it leads to PTSD.

Mcps is in a league all its own with mismanagement. I can see one of those lawsuit commercials on TV one day. " If you worked in mcps you may be entitled to compensation due to negligence"

Oh poor baby. You're exhausted from reading
comments. Trying working 80 hr work weeks and having admins treat teachers as they are the juvenile delinquents and treating criminals as they are above the law. Teaching in mcps is actually exhausting and toxic.

I doubt you're a teacher too. I'd guess you're suppose to support teachers but too busy throwing them under the bus to climb a ladder. You show the vindictive side that admin is known for.

I have a sophomore at Blair and with only one exception the teachers have been excellent and many have significant longevity at the school

Yes, only the STEM magnet is colloquially known as "the magnet", but CAP is indeed a selective magnet program, and judging from their post, the OP might not have been aware of it. (My current Blair student is my third CAP kid.)
