Why do you need to see another team's roster and kids pictures? |
Because I am also nosy. Why wouldn't you want to see it? Shrug. |
Same friend, same. |
I also need the roster for our own team! I never know who is who until deep into the season. |
| Its interesting to see which kids hop around where every season, when a new kid pops up, etc. |
| Depends how organized your club is and whether they are transparent or not. Former club not transparent or organized and didn't post until last possible minute (late June)--it was terrible...new club...we know the practices, the team and positions and have since March. like night and day. |
Whats the new club thats good please? |
|
So its reasonable to expect the roster by the end of June right? We are used to other sports I guess and its just weird to me to register and pay and then *crickets* for 5 weeks. Like is there usually a team meeting at some point? Will we get a tournament schedule? Who's on the team? lol.
|
MLSNext team here. We don’t see the roster until mid-August. But most people on the team have a pretty good idea where they stand. |
| I don't think there is any standard procedure. |
| There should be a team meeting in June, based on my experience. If the club uses PlayMetrics they probably won't turn over the new year until after the last games end for the spring season because they can only have one year live at a time. Reach out to your coach if you have questions though. |
| Is there anywhere to see rosters for the Pre ECNL leagues? Like the VA one and MD one? -another nosey parent here. LOL |
| Our new coach at the new club contacted us welcoming us to the team with an estimated timeline of next steps. |
No, I don't think so. |
North Atlantic (Bethesda/MD United) Pre-ECNL leagues are listed on the main ECNL website. https://theecnl.com/sports/2023/8/8/Pre-ECNLG_0808230733.aspx |
