Boston |
San Francisco is tops for me, followed by NYC and New Orleans. |
It's all that Spanish moss! |
NYC
Charleston NOLA |
And the slave markets in the middle of the city! |
Austin |
Coronado
Washington DC NYC Vegas Nashville at night |
Seattle - especially neighborhoods like Cap Hikl, Ballard, Fremont. You can totally wander all day and explore great shops and restaurants. If you want to do something outdoorsey there are endless hikes and day trips nearby.
Also, I know this isn’t in the U.S., but Quebec City is fun for this too. |
NYC, the boroughs as well. Miami L.A./Hollywood/SantaMonica Chicago northside Seattle New Orleans |
I'd say a good city for wandering around that also has easy access to hiking is Portland, Oregon. |
Boston |
I grew up in the Boston area and enjoy walking around Boston. I now live in the Bay Area. I haven’t spent much time in the city but I just don’t love San Francisco. For those that do, was it recent? What neighborhoods do you recommend? Thanks. |
Pittsburgh |
And the bugs in the moss, and the biting ants in the grass, and the flying roaches, and the horrendous weather. It's pretty and livable for about a month out of the year! |
Surprisingly, Philadelphia. I did not expect to be so charmed.
