Weight gain despite not eating much?

Anonymous
OP, I would echo what others are saying. It seems like this is the ED sneaking back in and I would urge you to get in with a therapist ASAP. It's okay to not gain weight in the first 14 weeks. While not necessarily typical (unless you are overweight, which you are not), this can happen if you're feeling sick in the first trimester. But, generally if you're of a healthy weight, it is expected that by week 18 you would have gained at least 7 pounds (but likely more). Not everyone gains in a linear fashion, but it is GOOD and HEALTHY that you've gained that weight. Please, please make sure you are eating sufficiently to sustain a healthy pregnancy. That means, you should expect to gain about a pound a week going forward.
