Having someone drive your kids...

I was an Au Pair in Maryland driving kids around when I was 18.5. I had never even driven in my own country as we get DLs at 18 there.
The highways were quite intimidating. Hated the big Ford Aerostar too. Super easy if I had been driven to the location before.

I nannied in college, driving the kids around was a huge part of my job. I even drove my employer's car (it was a Volvo, which I'm sure they figured was a lot safer than my 15 year old Camry).


Would love to have an option like this during the regular school year. Has anyone found a college student able to do this?

It's really varies and down the individual in our experience. We prefer to have college student accompany on Uber or public transportation.

We did but she started sitting for us in HS and it transitioned. She’s at CC now so local and drives DD twice a week to soccer and back.
