I go through my psychiatric NP. She can prescribe and the appt is covered by insurance. It is $200 per vial for Tirz and since I am still on the 0.25 starting dose, that will last 8 weeks.

I did through Brello. Good experience. My BMI was at 23.5-24 and no doctor would prescribe but I wanted to lose about 10-15 lbs. $500 for three month supply. I started on lowest dose and have been on that same dose and vial since September because I didn’t have too much to lose. It’s a game changer. Totally changed my way of thinking about food. I haven’t reordered because I only wanted the three vials. I hope I don’t gain back but probably will because I’ve never been able to turn off food noise like this. I went from 163 to 145. I’m 5’9

Are you sure you don’t have any other issues like high cholesterol or triglycerides?

DP. I did have high cholesterol but my insurance/drs only prescribe if BMI is also high. My bmi is in normal range.

I think they said my bmi had to be 27-28. Mine is 24.

You sound like me. I have found the Noom Med micro dose program to be perfect for what I've needed. I've lost just shy of 20 pounds since mid-August and it has been relatively easy - I am not dying of hunger, I am heating reasonable portions of healthy food, and it is not miserable.

Noom for example does not prescribe above 1.2. What other compounding places will do a full dose?
