CES wait pool process

Did you appeal?

Can't appeal the lottery. You can appeal if your DC is eligible or not. Again, it is a lottery, so you can not be upset at that. But more so, the enrichment is not enough is the issue

In 2022 we got a CES offer / off the wait list in mid-August, about 2 weeks before the start of the school year - so it could happen at any time before the start of the school year. Kid wanted to try it, so we did, on the basis of very little information. (We were only given a few days to accept and we were on vacation when the notice came in.) Generally glad we did.

We got our invite to oak view a week after school ended. Unless your child has a super strong friend group at their local school (or maybe they are already in immersion?) I don’t see why anyone in the oak view CES cluster of ES that it draws from would turn it down.
