It doesn't really go with the first three at all. If you must use it, make it a middle name. |
These comments are all weird, sounds totally fine with the other names. Rob and max are similar |
Plus 1 |
Robert is fine with those names. He'll probably end up as Bobby or Robby anyways. |
Foster is definitely the outlier. |
Robert and Foster sound like siblings. Emma and Max sound like siblings. Instead of a matching 4-pack, you’ll just have two sets of matches. Congratulations! |
I like Robert, but call him Bertie instead of Rob/Robbie.
FWIW, I don't think kids names have to "match." I might side eye a family with a Jaylen and an Archibald, but I think your kids names go together just fine. |
Bertie? Omg. No. Rob or Robby is nice. Foster is not a good name, but that shipped has sailed. Max and Emma are nice. |
Bertie? Have you been watching “The Crown”? Like, what? And that’s a nickname for Albert, not Robert. |
lol I haven't, but I think Bertie is an adorable nickname for a little boy. And just like Al can be a nickname for ALbert/ALfred/ALexander/ALan, Bert/Bertie can be a nickname for AlBERT/ RoBERT / HerBERT. |
Foster is the outlier.
Emma and Robert are both very traditional names. Ditto for Max. |
How about Robin?

My youngest cousin is Dad's Name as FN, Robert Middle Name, Last Name. His mom called him Bobby when he was little. It took us older cousins 30 years to get over that. He goes by Rob now. I think that works with your other sibling names. Call him Robby when little, then Rob, and he can do Robert when he wants to be formal. |
You need another pretentious name, not Robert. |
