Euthanizing a pet is imo better than leaving it on its own in a war torn city or letting an invading army abuse it. On net Hitler was evil, no doubt. |
Not really. He states religion is required for good people to do evil things. I don’t think that’s true, but that depends on your definition of religion. |
You call using a dog for a cyanide test “euthanizing”? I’m gonna leave this discussion. |
I regret mentioning Hitler. Sorry. Off topic really.
|
Agree with this. |
How do you define religion? |
If you leave every discussion where someone says something you don't like, you won't take part in many discussions. |
The way I look at it religion and religious texts have been used for good and evil.
For example historically religious texts have been used to justify slavery at the same time Quakers and some religious groups were prominent force in the anti slavery movement. So religion is a double edge sword it can be used for good or evil. |

I dont leave them all. I don’t want to communicate with someone who thinks its a positive to euthanize a healthy dog with cyanide. In addition to the defending hitler thing Shouldn’t seem like an extreme position imho. |
Didn't defend Hitler. Extreme example of very little positive. Don't read this post btw. |
BTW what do you think would have happened to healthy pets left in the bunker area In Berlin when the Soviet Army rolled in? |
My thought is that the recently read Aquinas' Summa Theologiae on moral evil and immorality and came up with (or copied) a cute quote about it.
This is what my kid is studying in 11th grade. https://www.newadvent.org/summa/2018.htm |
Same thing that happened to the people? Do tou know what happens when an animal gets cyanide? Is this actually happening? Am i on candid camera? You people are WACK. |
I’m not familiar with cyanide. Is it extremely painful?
