Caroline's letter yesterday made me wonder if she was referencing Patrick Kennedy, one of the younger cousins (from that generation, son of Ted and Joan)) who had a drug problem and has doing a lot of advocacy work about opioids. He served in congress in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Pretty sure all the Kennedys pounded tons of drugs in their early adulthood. I’m not sure how relevant your college dorm life was when they are evacuating someone who’s 70

I think it's his wife Cheryl Hines who also seems to be afflicted with the same eye blinking neuro disorder. What are the chances they both have the same disorder? Slim to none and both left town. My money is on drug abuse. For him neuro damage from a severe addiction, use of unclean needles, and all of the other health issues that come with that. He contracted Hep C, what are the chances he didn't infect himself with other contagions as well. Some of which might help to explain his veering off the path of morally questionable behavior but otherwise keeping his stuff together now being on the crazy train. Whatever it is its neurodegenerative and clearly not benign.
