I don’t mind the pros but my neighbor who is an idiot goes out to his yard and vroom, vroom, vrooms all day long. Instead of the steady hum of someone just pressing the gas he pumps it. Vroom, vroom, vrooms. It’s inefficient and super irritating.

Try living in California. I have absolutely no idea why they allow it. Aren’t they supposed to be environmentally friendly people? The fumes are super bad and the noise!! Even short term it’s maddening.

Not as annoying as my neighbor's barking dog. All damn day that dog barks and barks. I cannot work at home anymore.

Anyone who uses or hires someone else to use a leaf blower on their property is a lazy, wasteful, garbage human.

How much property do you have?

Are they actually enforcing the ban in DC? I still see crews with gas powered blowers.

Not enough that I can’t maintain it with a rake and good old-fashioned work ethic.

If you feel the need to use a leaf blower you either bit off more than you could chew or should figure out a different landscaping plan.

I feel the same way about your car.

So either I rake it all myself or pay landscapers to rake, but do not allow a leaf blower to be used either way, or else I'm lazy, wasteful, garbage human. What is your complaint - the noise?

So maybe go back to the office? Nothing irritates me more than people complaining about their remote work situation. If it’s “driving you crazy” why don’t you just go into the office on Thursdays

Because Elon, my job is 100% remote.
