The really good aides who cared for my mother I found ways to slip cash to, Amazon gifts cards as well.

One woman took my mother’s pajamas down to the hospital laundry and ironed them because my mother had never worn un-ironed pajamas and was embarrassed to do so when people were visiting. There will never be enough $100 bills slipped into pockets to properly recognize what she did.

This almost brings tears to my eyes. What a kind thing to do. That woman is priceless.
