Only the Wall Street editorial board. They've had good reporting on the conflict by general reporters. I get stories on Apple News, so they may funnel it, but I'm very concerned about what's happening in Palestine. |
I’m listening to AJ now and the reporter is very much challenging the rep from Iran. Idk, seems pretty balanced to me. |
But democrats claim they are unbiased |
This is definitely the case of bias being in the eye of the beholder. It’s why gathering information from a variety of sources (including Twitter) is important. |
No there is a clear bias. Many stories that show Israel or the US actions are not covered. Like the " negotiations" for a ceasefire in Gaza. After the assassination of a hamas negotiators the only two parties in the room were the US and Israel. This was framed as a serious negotiates but nothing was happening. The Israelis said no to the US and Hamas was not there This is the type of coverage generated by NYT and WSJ. Once an article appears in those papers it is picked up and carried in other papers. Look at the story about the bombing Beirut the other day. It was a medical facility with no connection to Hezbollah but that fact was left out of coverage. |

So both of you are looking for a media outlet that sees Israel as bad by default? Always lying, never trust worthy, consistently evil? Always to be doubted? |
When the Iraq war was going on, American media regularly stole AJ's feed and never gave credit to them. The US military bombed its office specifically because the US didn't want the truth coming out regarding the invasion.
Anyone saying AJ is not credible, but American media overrun with IDF stenographers ARE, is a clown. It was western media that went out and told lies about beheaded Jewish babies and mass rape with NO ACTUAL FORENSIC EVIDENCE. It's American media that allows people like Tapper or Bash to keep their jobs despite outright lying and being propagandists. The NYT also lied with their "mass rape investigation." Their sources were known liars and even worse, one was an accused rapists himself. American media has no business even covering global issues when the people covering it have a glaring agenda when it comes to one side. |

Same. Less OpEds in WSJ though. And they tend to report on things that are news but never up in NYT or FT or WaPO except on a delay. |
Yes, it is remarkable how Hamas has managed to be the one invading terroristic force in the history of the world that never raped any women or girls and apparently treated them all with kindness and respect before, you know, executing those girls and women. Such angels they are. 🙄 Honestly the absolute gall to insist that there was miraculously no rape on 10/7 and any press coverage of those rapes was made up is so transparently ridiculous and idiotic. |
Why the eye roll? Do you seriously expect people to find nothing unusual in the wildly disproportionate representation of Jewish voices at the table, directly representing Jewish interests at the critical inflection points of our media, government, and military industrial systems? Go ahead, call it a trope or anti-semitic stereotyping or whatever you want, but it’s so obnoxiously factual, it’s not really up for debate whether it unduly influences our culture. |
There are none. They ALL have an agenda. 95% of them are owned by the same 5 corporations. |
-- me too. I seek out different viewpoints and try to determine what is the truth without a slant. Media has been destroyed. It's all either corporate whoring or government propaganda. |
