Bleach is very damaging to the hair. A lot of blondes I see IRL look worse b/c their hair texture becomes straw-like and brittle.

This is the way. You shouldn't go any lighter than your hair was as a child.
In my family we all start out with dark golden hair and then it turns brown-black around puberty. I think I would look best with the golden color but I don't have the money to maintain dyeing at this time. When it starts going gray that's the color I think would suit me.

I would look terrible as a blonde. I have dark brown hair, pink undertones, and am very fair.

I'm a natural blonde. My skin is pink-toned. Blondes can also have a peachy or slightly tan tone. Often freckled. But they don't have an olive skin tone, usually even. That's when it looks bad. I don't know why anyone who is a dark brunette like Jessica Seinfeld would dye her hair. It is all wrong. Blonde hair looks different, is usually not as thick. Dark hair is often much more beautiful.

I think some Black people can look kind of cool with dyed blonde because there is a strong contrast. Balayage or some highlights can look good on dark hair. Melania Trump's hair is an example.

The Schwarzkopf blonde commercial with Sophia Vergara has that one, tall, thin beautiful model (I think she may be Hispanic) with long dark hair and they turn her blonde. I think it looks terrible on her. She's a stunner with the darker hair.

There are so many people who were brunette as a child who look better blonde though. I think Ashley Tisdale and Britney Spears, Pam Anderson or Jessica Simpson look better blonde. Even Jennifer Lopez looks better blonde
