What TV shows are your tweens and teens into?

The Good Place
The Simpsons (kind of regret it—so many tedious jokes about being drunk)
Julie and the Phantoms
Glee Project (reality show)
Survivor (seasons 43 and 44 I think are especially good—the one with Frannie and Matt)
Great British Baking Show
She-Ra cartoon reboot — don’t be put off by the 80s reference, it’s so good
Baby Sitters Club (see above)
Ebola Holmes
Making of Frozen W (6 episodes on Disney—all behind the scenes stuff; so informative and fun)

Ha! Enola Holmes, not Ebola. Autocorrect

Shows we've all liked; a few are subtitles

Wayne: great but sadly only one season, Netflix IIRC
Hanna (movie or show)
Elite (first two seasons, before it goes soft-core porn)
The Boys (HBO)
Sanditon
The Gentlemen (recent show, not really the movie)
CB Strike (really great tv adaptation of the JK Rowling/Robert Galbraith novels)
The Seven Lives of Lea
Norsemen (watch in either Norwegian or English; the translator is fantastic because even the English version is hilarious)

And if you can find it (likely online), the various versions of SKAM were really good IMO. IMO the Norwegian and French versions are the best but Italy was also good. Same basic plot every time so it is interesting to see how different countries handle the setting and casting, change gender of the characters, etc.

I'm fine with my children seeing mild violence. They know what sex is and they hear swear words other places so it doesn't need to be g-rated PG-13 is fine with me

My son is 12, and liked Lost in Space (the new version on Netflix) and Alex Rider (Amazon prime)

Should also mention, Alex Rider is based on a book series (some regular chapter books, and some graphic novels) - so if you are looking for books for your tween/teen they could do both. Similar to Percy Jackson.

Mine like The Umbrella Academy, Wednesday, Stranger Things, Cobra Kai and Resident Alien. For comedies, they like The Office, Brooklyn 911, Family Guy, The Simpsons and Kim's Convenience.

DS (13) and I both really liked those seasons of Survivor! We watched together.

We just finished the first season of Only Murders in the Building, and we all liked it.

DS also saw and liked the (relatively) recent remake of Murder on the Orient Express. (Movie, not series.)

My daughter loved gilmore girls at that age, she watched it on loop, some times with us. She also liked Glee and the Good Place. Later she is hooked on Rick and Morty (very inappropriate but she is 17 now)
My son loves comedy: the office is his favorite, also playing on loop in this house. Seinfeld too. Brooklyn 99. Parks and Recreation. And for inappropriate shows: Family Guy.
