Plan to part ways in August but Nanny doesn't seem to realize that. How to handle?

What do you mean “no notice”? The nanny has literally had notice since August of last year.

That is a crappy thing to do. OP, you tell her now what her last day is.

Is it a financial hardship to have the nanny?
With a baby and 2 older kids I’m not sure why you would want to try and do it all alone or with pt daycare. I’d keep the nanny for peace of mind and ease of life. The older kids will have activities after school, days off, sick days etc.
