NoVA teams still recruiting for travel?

Almost every club is looking to find players. They may not have filled the rosters, they may just want an extra good kid if one comes along. Find out who is close to you and send some emails. They will probably invite you to a training session at this point, but do it soon since most kids' seasons are over by the first weekend in June. Even then though, once they pick up again this summer you may find space. No club is likely to have absolutely no space, though whether it is the right level is another story.

All clubs have haters. Use the various club names you've seen in this forum and rule out the ones you aren't willing to drive to for practice. All clubs leave 1 or 2 spots for kids that are new to the area.

You could check with some clubs this week and perhaps catch the teams you're thinking about in action this weekend, but if you want to see them play this is probably your last chance for the spring. Most teams are going to be done after this weekend's games. I'm talking about NCSL; ECNL games are finished.

Im not sure what PPs issue is, but they are a small not well known club, so maybe that's why. Which is why I mentioned them as maybe having extra spots. DS has friends that play for them and like it. Some of their age groups are competitive from what I've seen.
