Just why?

I’ve always been opposed to crypto currency.

Crypto currency is used to fund all types of dangerous criminals! The government should ban it.

These people who own these things should not own them. They are getting scammed by hucksters. The value is going to zero.

Eventually the taxpayers will be on the hook for this when they crash the financial system and need a bailout.

Why can’t Biden stand on actual principles instead of pandering to whichever way he thinks the wind is blowing?

How many maga crypto bros are going to switch their vote to Biden now? How many responsible citizens are going to NOT vote for Biden because he is greenlighting cryptos??

Bitcoin is going to $1M + and it’s going to make me reach in a few years, so all you negative Nancy’s and your issues with crypto crashing the financial system can fk right off. Yeah, so maybe shibainucoin69 and all the rug pulls could maaaaaybe cause the next Great Depression, I don’t care. I need for Biden to soften his stance and for favorable legislation to increase my prices in the run up after positive news is announced. I also have Bonk and PePe. If Biden and Congress let crypto be considered a commodity and the community sees wider adoption and all that stuff I will make tons of money. Then when prices are high enough I will sell it all and put the money into normal stuff like VTSAX and real estate. Crypto is a scam (except bitcoin and maybe eth) but I want prices to sky rocket and get out of everything but those two cryptos. I’m so tired of whiny Elizabeth Warren trying to sht on my parade.

Why infantalize everyone? Let adults be adults. Intelligent people can tell there’s tons of money to be made, but yes there are scams. Bitcoin and eth are cool the rest are sht, but seriously why not just let the market work as it should? The problem with progressives is they want to fk with anyone who wants to make money. Whether it’s implementing stupid things like rent control, or stymieing development in upcoming areas to prevent “gentrification” (basically keeping things shtty in a neighborhood so generations of welfare recipients can continue to stay and be lazy and not improve themselves and local politicians can continue to get votes by pandering)…it’s also tiresome.

I’m socially liberal but dude, fiscally, let people profit. Leave crypto alone. Let the market work the way it should. Implement some safeguards, but for the most part just fk off.
